Thanks Earth curated by Alessia Perone Founder of Arteom Gallery

My response to Thanks Earth

Artists have created many works of art on the theme of nature. Artists will continue to be inspired by this beautiful earth that nurtures a variety of living things and plants. I am truly grateful for the wonderful works that are created thanks to the earth.

Title: Monet’s Garden Koi and Water Lily

Year:2021

Technique:Dye onThree Layered Silk Organza

Size:30Wx100Lx30D cm 20”x40’x12”

Meaning:

This work was created with the theme of Monet's garden. Monet mainly painted garden plants, but I imagined that if I looked into his garden pond, carps might be swimming gracefully. And the pond may have a paintbrush that he dropped while working. Monet was a painter who advocated an impressionist way of looking at things, so he created paintings with an emphasis on raw nature, especially the state of light. I imagined Monet's garden and drew what might be there.

Title:Monet’s Garden Wisteria and Frog

Year:2021

Technique:Dye onThree Layered Silk Organza

Size:0Wx100Lx30D cm 20”x40’x12”

Meaning:

This work was created with the theme of Monet's garden. Monet mainly painted garden plants, but I think his gardens had a lot of living things. In my garden, dragonflies, mantises, grasshoppers, birds, cats, and other creatures visit. So when I saw wisteria flowers in Monet's paintings, I thought that there might sometimes be frogs hanging from them.
